Lesley MacKay
Lesley MacKay (her name rhymes with ‘high’) is a friend of my daughter Tyya. In 1991,when she was 6 years old, I wrote this poem for her. It is one of my favorite poems and if you ever figure out what it means, please tell me.
LESLEY
Lesley MacKay
Sat way up high
Eating an orange in the sky.
She said; I've no fear
To sit way up here
Though if I fall down
I will die.
Just look at my name
It's highly the same
And much more like high
Than like low;
So up in the sky
Is where I will fly,
No matter where others may go.
